Essentials of Elementary and Intermediate Algebra

Course Description

This course is designed to develop conceptual understanding of algebra and prepare students for college-level mathematics. It will emphasize algebraic structure through discussion, small-group work, mixed review, and problem solving. Topics will include real numbers, solving equations and inequalities, systems, exponents, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, radicals, relations and functions, absolute value, and quadratic functions.
