Course Description

This course is a continuation of HIST 111 and concentrates on the Modern era of world history since about 1500. Particular emphasis is placed on political, economic, and social developments which have shaped the cultures of the world including Europe, Russia, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.
