Differential Equations

Course Prerequisite

MATH 223 with a grade of C or better.

Course Description

This course includes first order (e.g., separable, linear, exact) with applications and simple higher order ordinary differential equations; linear independence and the Wronskian; linear differential equations with constant coefficients along with systems and applications; variation of parameters and undetermined coefficients; solution by means of Laplace transforms, solutions of partial differential equations, solution by power series and numerical methods. Prior knowledge of the basic concepts of physics is recommended.
