Course Description
This course provides students not majoring in science with an opportunity to study energy and environment while learning basic concepts of physical science. It surveys topics such as the scientific method; energy and power; the interconnectedness of energy and the environment; energy use and society; electricity; fossil fuels; nuclear power; alternative energy sources; air pollution and climate change.
