Sociology of Sex and Gender
Course Description
This course uses a sociological perspective to understand the role of sex and gender as factors in social stratification. Major areas of inquiry include the social construction of sex and gender, gender identities and diversity, the changing nature of sex and gender, gender inequality, and social institutions.
