Students will be knowledgeable in anatomy and physiology and medical terminology.

1. Students will be able to identify the structural organization of the human body.
2. Students will be able to identify body systems.
3. Students will be able to identify common pathologies for each body system, including signs, symptoms, etiology, diagnostic measures, and treatment modalities.
4. Students will be able to define and use medical abbreviations when appropriate and acceptable.
5. Students will be able to define and apply the basic structure of medical terminology and accurately identify the correct context.

The program will graduate entry-level medical assistants (Program Effectiveness Data).

1. Graduates will successfully write the CMA certification exam.
2. Of those pursuing employment, graduates will be employed within 12 months of program completion.
