Introduction to Literature

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to

analyze a variety of social issues (such as race, gender, religion, politics, and economics) in primary texts as a means of re-constructing the ideology of their authorial and rhetorical voices and as a way of reflecting on contemporary equivalents.
