Fundamentals of Clinical Chemistry

CHEM 120 or CHEM 130 with a C or better, MLT 115 and MLT 116 with a C or better, or department approval.

Course Description

This course is an introduction to basic principles and practices of clinical chemistry. It will include automation, specimen handling, quality control, chemical mathematics, electrolytes, proteins, carbohydrates, enzymes, and trace elements.
